U.S. Government Shutdown

Please contact NTUA soon
FORT DEFIANCE, AZ – Since the federal government shutdown started weeks ago, the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) has been ready to work with affected furloughed employees and is prepared to make arrangements for electric, water/wastewater, and natural gas utility bills.
“We are asking impacted employees to contact us,” said Deputy General Manager Rex Kontz. “We need to know who you are.  You simply need to show us a recent payroll check stub or a government ID.”
“Once the shutdown ends customers will need to contact us to make some type of arrangement to catch their bills up,” Kontz said. “You will still receive computer generated disconnect notices during this time. Once you contact us these can be disregarded.”
Furloughed federal employees can reach NTUA customer service at 928-729-5721 or fill out the contact form. Thank You.
